To produce its mechanical timepieces, Maurice Lacroix uses own manufacture movements or contemporary calibres, all manufactured in Switzerland. Historical, classic timepiece movements are also used in special limited editions. Each one of these raw movements is carefully optimized,
modified, and fitted with the highest quality components, guaranteeing the movement to function perfectly. A lovingly applied finish adds to the intrigue of the mechanics. The movement decoration – for example Côtes de Genève, gold-plated false settings or wheels, polished steel components,
fine perlage, and blued screws – is hand-fitted by experienced specialists because only the hand-craftsmanship guarantees the desired quality. Innovative surface finishes, still rarely applied in the watch industry, lend them their unique, unmistakable appearance.
For more than 30 years, the precious mechanical timepieces of Maurice Lacroix have been produced with utmost precision and perfection by experienced watchmakers in our own watchmaking facilities.
