It’s with great pride that Maurice Lacroix welcomes up-and-coming Swiss sprinter Sarah Atcho to the brand’s circle of friends.
She has just been invited by the Swiss Athletics Federation to run the 4x100 metres and the 200 metres at the World Championships, which will take place in Doha from 27 September to 6 October
Today in Morges, Switzerland she will be carrying the Olympic flame for the Lausanne 2020 Youth Olympic Games.. It looks like nothing can stop Sarah Atcho!
During her visit to the Saignelégier Manufacture, the champion had the chance to discover the richness of Maurice Lacroix's collections. “I love the way you can combine pieces with so many possible styles! I’m a style-conscious woman and I’m delighted that I can switch from an AIKON design to an Eliros, which focuses on purity! Also, the different models are light, and I can run while wearing them without any problems.” The diverse range of available models, including watches that adapt to suit your style thanks to the EasyChange system for changing straps, is a real bonus for the young woman. “It’s a great idea! Nowadays, watches are also fashion accessories! These pieces are stylish, while still being affordable. This really aligns with my vision of modern watchmaking!” During her visit to the workshops, Sarah was impressed by the precise and meticulous work carried out there. “It’s very systematic and organised, I can easily relate it to my sport. Each individual movement is also important during my races, so you don’t lose even a second.”
