With her powerful and contagious positivity and zest for life, it’s easy to see why Sandra Lahnsteiner is unstoppable. The Austrian skier, who has had an all-consuming passion for the peaks since a very young age, is also a producer of films on this topic as well as being a coach. «I am a passionate person guided by my visions. I never give up on my goals. Throughout my skiing career, I’ve had serious accidents. In spite of the opinions of those who didn’t understand my stubbornness, I continued. I learnt from my mistakes and was all the stronger for it,» she says. «The Maurice Lacroix mantra ‘Success is a journey, not a destination’ describes me perfectly.»
Everyday is a new challenge for Sandra, who has a very busy schedule. As the founder of the production company «Shades of Winter», she presents films starring sportswomen, but she also arranges training camps to connect female professional athletes. She runs this project at the same time as conquering the peaks.
