Maurice Lacroix is proud to announce the presence of the Masterpiece Embrace within the ladies' complication watch selection of *Le Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève. The first Masterpiece for women is a fusion of artistic expression and technical creativity, courtesy of its retrograde calendar and unusual small seconds display.
An automatic timepiece dressed with an aventurine dial giving it an elegant and mysterious look. It’s small seconds display is a reinterpretation of Maurice Lacroix’s patented Square Wheel indication. Every tooth has a unique profile, made to infinitesimal tolerances, engaging with its adjacent counterpart with seamless precision. A discreet marking indicates the prevailing second without marring the clean dial design. Selected by the Academy – a jury made up of watch industry professionals – the ceremony will take place on 12 November and will determine the winning watch in this category.
