From Sydney to Hong Kong, James Magnussen discovered a popular game in South Asia with local TV and football stars as well as press representatives.

“Having the chance to come to Hong Kong for the very first time, in such a progressive city, is a perfect match for me and Maurice Lacroix” Magnussen said.

Not only the city but he was also given the opportunity to discover footgolf… but what is footgolf exactly?

Well, footgolf is a precision sport where players kick a soccer ball into a cup in as few shots as possible.

Its name is contraction of "football" and "golf", and the game combines the two sports, being more closely related to golf.

The game is played the same way as golf, except players use a football instead of a golf ball and the ball is kicked rather than struck with a club, working towards a 21-inch "cup" in place of the usual golf hole.

A big favor he made as his schedule and timing are so busy until the Rio’s games next summer.

24 hours out of a training pool doesn’t seem a lot for us, but as time is of the essence, we can tell 86400 seconds mean a lot to him, when a 1/100th of a second can already be enough to win a race…
